'FAUDA' above all is great television - a breathtaking thriller, riddled with superb action, realistic drama, compelling and complex characters with a unique voice and a worthwhile story to tell. Multi-layered, and as honest as a fictionalized visualization can be, 'FAUDA' has succeeded in humanizing the decades-long struggle. By showing a two-sided story. it offers empathy and criticism of both sides in the battle for existence.

FAUDA ("chaos" in Arabic) tells the story of an undercover unit of the Israeli Defense Forces, headed by Doron Kavillio (Lior Raz). In its second season, the show will emphasize the unbearable cost of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the way it consumes everyone involved and ruins their lives. Each violent act from one side is met with a deadly reaction from the other – a vicious rotation with no end in sight. For some of the characters on the show, this endless cycle is an inseparable part of their lives, one from which they cannot break free. We meet a new opponent who shuffles the cards and changes the power balance in the West Bank, presenting a new challenge to the unit.
